My experience with Vee was amazing! This was my first time at a salon that specializes in curly and wavy hair. It was also my first time back in a salon after almost two years. I told Vee how I've been growing out my hair, the bad experiences I've had with other stylists taking off way more than I wanted or cutting my hair only when they've brushed it straight and not with my natural wave pattern in mind. Vee took all of this in and gave me a cut that is still long, frames my face well, and is so much healthier at the ends. My layers don't look uneven anymore because she knew hot to cut layers with hair that doesn't dry straight!The salon itself was also really cute. Everyone was welcoming. From the moment you walk into the space, there is a very cool vibe. Soaring ceilings, concrete floors and cozy stations. Every Stylist has been trained by Dusty "Curlvision" Schlabach, which was, in part, the reason for my visit to this brand new salon. I had the pleasure of meeting Dusty while I was there; he is pure energy, light and talent! Stylist Talia came over & introduced herself and then began my cut. Curly girls know how hard it is to find a good stylist, but I had my first visit here with Juno today and omg. She killed it! I came here after a not-so-great experience at a different curly salon and all I can say is Juno understands curly hair and she LISTENS. She gave me exactly what I wanted AND fixed my choppy, disconnected layers. The whole service was about 45 minutes start to finish and she took her time with my curls.
