Quilting for community is a fantastic space. The fabric thrift store holds an abundance of quilts and quilting fabrics, but also garment + upholstery fabric, yarn, sewing notions of all kinds, bag-making supplies, books, patterns, and more all at an extremely affordable price. They are a non-profit and rely on donations, so their stock is constantly changing which makes going to the store exciting every time. When you purchase supplies, it supports their mission to teach low-cost classes and keep this community space alive, so you can feel good about buying your craft supplies. The studio classroom next door is also incredibly impressive. It was my first visit and short one too . Amazed at the way the efficient ladies attended to us . Most important ;art supplies and fabrics are sold at a discount rates. Reuse , repurpose and recycle helps in reducing wastage of good and functional materials. Kudos to the ladies . Maya

This place was amazing! I went during their Wed evening and Saturday afternoon open sew, and they had everything! Cutting stations, supplies, sewing machines! And the two teachers were so knowledgeable but they also didn’t hover. They have so many classes not just for sewists but for all fiber arts (looking at you crochet and knitters) I will return again and again and bring fabric donations to lessen my stash! Please visit and support.* note on Apple Maps it has finally updated to the correct address!
