My daughter started here a month ago and I can say for sure they are the best. Not only are they communicative but the way they all care for my baby girl. From Joyce to Julian and her amazing teachers. Oh did I forget to mention their parent view!!!! Which parent wouldn't want to see what their baby is doing at the moment or every second..yup you got that right. While working I can just turn on parent view constantly and will steal glances at real time moments in her class. I love this daycare and I'm happy I went with them. So clean and professional...communication is excellent. Thank you Downtown Brooklyn Lightbridge Academy really appreciate it.

My son started at Lightbridge accidentally. My job uses them for backup care and the plan was for me to use them while the foster care agency situates our voucher. Long story short, we’ll be staying at Lightbridge. From the moment we walked in, Joyce put me at ease. My son hadn’t been away from me for more than a couple hours at that point and honestly, they did everything they could to help him transition. If you’re looking for a nurturing place for your child, look no further. Everyone has truly been amazing!

Ms. Joyce and the entire Lightbridge Academy (Downtown Brooklyn) staff currently provide exceptional care for my 3.8-year-old daughter. I cannot thank them enough for all that they do to keep my daughter safe, healthy, and happy. The school is kept clean, and the teachers are highly organized and experienced. An additional bonus for parents is the daily access to the classroom via WatchMeGrow. It will be a sad day when our daughter outgrows the school once she turns 5 years old! Lightbridge is fantastic. Our 4 year old son has gone there as backup care both for the odd day here and there and for a week during the summer. The staff are super warm, he always comes home having had a great day (with art projects in tow). Highly recommend.

After visiting several other places, Lightbridge Downtown Brooklyn immediately stood out, and our initial hunch proved absolutely correct. Our son has been going to Lightbridge since it opened last year and he's had a great time. The teachers do a wonderful job attending to the kids, making sure they're learning the appropriate skills, and encouraging the kids to grow and learn. The teachers are kind and have a wealth of knowledge for a new parent such as myself. They've made such wonderful suggestions on baby gear, eating tools, and how to help me help my son hit his next milestones. The manager, Joyce, and her assistant manager, Julian, are both extremely dedicated to all of their students and are always well aware of each and every students needs. The facility is brand new and has a stroller room for you to store your stroller during the day. There are two infant classrooms, one 1-2 year old classroom, one 2-3 year old classroom, and one 3 year old classroom. We toured each and have brought friends by to tour the other classrooms and they're all well run and all the kids were excited to be there and learn.

The teachers and staff were amazing and really went above and beyond to make sure my kiddo was happy and acclimating to the new experience of starting school. The classroom was structured, well managed, and there were lots of fun and educational activities planned each day. I highly recommend Lightbridge in downtown Brooklyn, and since we moved my son asks everyday if he can go back to his old school with Ms Telicha :)

My son has been attending this daycare for a few months now, and as a first-time parent returning to work, I found the transition to be quite daunting. However, the staff and teachers have been nothing short of wonderful. They consistently provide valuable information, regular updates, and thoughtful recommendations, which have significantly eased my concerns. The facility is always clean, and I appreciate the curriculum designed for young infants. Additionally, I love that the school features an outdoor enclosed courtyard, allowing the children to enjoy outdoor time safely, away from the streets (weather permitting). Our son has been going to Lightbridge Academy for about 6 months. My wife and I are so happy with our experience. The facility is clean and secure. The administration and the teachers are friendly, professional, and communicative. Our son loves going and everyone there genuinely cares for him. The daily updates with pictures and details of activities for the day help me get a good sense of what he is doing. The (extra) classroom camera view makes me feel like I know exactly what is going on when I want to be a hovering parent. Special events like Halloween and parents' night out make the experience all that much better. While it isn't the closest to where we live, we are glad we found this Lightbridge location and would recommend it to others.
