Okay so here is my review on central tattoo. I was in search of a really good black and grey artist realism artist and after searching google etc I cam across this place. After looking at a few artist I decided on going with Sean to inquire about a dove on my back shoulder. The process was pretty simple after the consultation we locked in a date and went from there. Now upon arrival I was greeted by the receptionist and proceeded to fill out the necessary forms before the session. Then Sean showed me the stencil that he drew and I couldn’t have been more happy with the outcome. After that it was time for the actual session and honestly this was the easiest and non painful tattoo I have. Maybe it was due to the placement or Sean’s technique but the entire session was easy we did take a few breaks. But the total tattoo time was a breeze, as for the atmosphere it’s very chill and laid back a place that is gonna be my forever home when it comes to getting elite level of service and quality

Cult Studios

This tattoo shop is by far my favorite shop in Philadelphia! I have gotten tattooed by so many of there artists and I am absolutely obsessed with all of them. I found the owner Pete on Instagram before he had the shop and went anywhere he was to to get tattooed by him. He is so nice and down to earth and I gave him creative freedom for my watercolor sleeve. I was so happy and proud when he opened central tattoos. It is beautiful inside and doubles as an art studio. After working on my arm he gave me a beautiful hand tattoo of a water color eye. Then Rowan did most of my black and gray tattoos. She is so gentle and kind. She tattooed my leg, stomach, neck, and eyebrows. My favorite tattoo that she has done was a panda holding a blue kitten that I got for my son. Cody did my back piece which is a never needing project because I hate sitting for long sessions. (I’m a baby) Frank did trash polka tattoos on my leg and chest. Classy shop doing high-level, unique artwork. I came to see Hunter at the Spring Garden location for some heavy black flash and both pieces I got turned out amazing! I can't even believe he's an apprentice. Lovely atmosphere - pleasant chill music, lots of natural light and quiet conversations. Can't wait to come back.
