The best catering ever! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I'm so happy to have chose their services for our corporate event. They were super fast responding e-mails and any doubts and when the day came they delivered it on time and help us set up everything. Thank you so much for everyone in this company :)

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and sat outside with our dog. Looked very modern and spacious inside but also very homey and friendly and we were immediately greeted by the staff. The service was awesome as they brought water out to us (and our dog!) quickly and checked on us consistently even though we were outside. We loved that the chef brought out our food and personally thanked us for coming in!We ordered the crack in a cup (similar to Vietnamese coffee), crack fries, shakshuka and the churro pancakes.Crack fries - the sauce and cheese on these was delicious and the fries weren't over/undercooked.Shakshuka - came out hot in a cast iron skillet and was super tasty. Ton of flavor and the bread and eggs were a perfect combo.Churro pancakes - tasted as you'd expect, solid pancakes with churro powder. Awesome that this came with "boozy" syrup which was syrup in a bulleit whiskey bottle!Highly recommend this place for brunch. The food had a ton of flavor and the menu has enough variet

I ordered from Bites & Bashes for a large meeting and was thrilled with everything. The ordering and pick up were easy and the food was outstanding. Many of the guests asked about it afterward.

Been here a few times with my gals for lunch. The crack fries are my favorite along with the candied bacon. Both have a nice spice to it. My friend got the Mac n cheese and it was definitely not your ordinary Mac n cheese it was so much better. The alfredo with chicken is delicious, with the edible flowers. This is definitely a step up from your average cafe. They changed theirnhkurs so make sure you get here before they close.Another thing we really loved was the owner came out and greeted us, chatted with us gave us a little history on her and how bites n bashes came to be. Such a nice lady.

I've failed you all; kept quite for this long, holding back on giving you all the scope on this amazing place!Let me start at the beginning...I first hear about Bites and Bashes from a colleague at UCLA and they were highly recommended because of their presentation but also their great customer service. Initially when i reached out it was a bit over my price tag so I went with another caterer I found on Thumbtack. 3 months before my big day and a whole other story of tom foolery and scams led me right back to the loving arms of B&B. I quickly learned that sometime you have to pay more for quality and please believe this is top grade. After a beautiful tasting and warm/wonderful conversations with both Cyrstal and Julie (really everyone on their team is superb) we were sold! Sold on everything I ever wanted at my wedding plus more. We was able to customize a menu that suit both my fiancee and my taste, we had the most beautiful cheese display I've ever seen, a damn tasty churro bar and s

Food presentation and quality was top notch. Would highly recommend them for high quality catering requirements. Communication processes could be fine tuned though. Example being: We didn't receive any pre-event day reconfirmation communication that everything was on track and they would be delivering on X date at X time in the lead up to our event date so we had to reach out by phone and email but couldn't reach anyone nor did they contact us when enroute or arriving on the day of as they mentioned they would in initial conversations. So it felt a little uncomfortable not knowing if the food was still arriving for our party or not. The food did arrive as planned but we would have appreciated that final touch point to alleviate any concern. The weird thing is they did eventually respond to our email but AFTER our event was already over days later to tell us that yes, our food was still to be delivered.

I am an LA-based event planner for that focuses on high-end events. I have worked with a wide variety of catering companies, but Bites & Bashes is next level. The first time I connected with Bites & Bashes they worked with me to provide a quick turnaround and blew us out of the water in terms of quality of the food and service. Luckily they had the availability to cater a last minute internal corporate reception for 75 people where they provided the most delicious passed hors d'oeuvres. In addition, we added the antipasto (picture below) which was a huge hit and incredibly stunning. The flowers came from the Chef Julie's garden which added to the magic. The most recent event that Bites & Bashes catered was for our office holiday party at the Natural History Museum for about ~200 attendees. They were extremely patient and kind during the planning process as we had to build out an entire kitchen outside of the venue. Crystal (president) was specifically able to figure out ways to make our

Wanting breakfast led me straight to Bites & Bashes, I was ready and excited because I knew this place was going to make my toes wiggle and it did lol. We ordered the All American which was pancakes, bacon and eggs with cheese. I omitted the bacon in hopes of being able to sub but that wasn't an option unfortunately. We also ordered the Mediterranean Omelet, an iced Rose Latte and a Horchata shaken espresso (only comes iced). My apologies I totally forgot to take pictures of our order because we devoured this breakfast without thought, was it good??? Absolutely!!. The pancakes were moist and fluffy, the cheese eggs were soft, buttery and scrambled to perfection. The Mediterranean omelet was super good and it came with tater tots. I loved the mix of the orange and yellow tomatoes, the feta was great( feta makes life betta), the tater tots were just ok.. just your regular unseasoned tots. Now, the coffee.. the Horchata was super delicious!! Definitely recommend, the only thing I would cha

This review reflects on months of customer service—planning and executing my wedding June 2023. My wife and I, and our out-of-state guests, enjoyed their food and service so much! My wife and I are actually coming back to their cafe to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.Variables to Consider: We had about 80 adults-only to feed including handful of vegetarians and a couple gluten-free guests. We opted for dessert bar over a cake. We opted to hire a separate vendor for bartending, but I’m sure B&B would have done a great job.Pros-Woman-owned, family business-They grow their own produce and edible flowers-Thorough communication over email, phone, and in person-Pulled out some great showstoppers at their tasting event after we confirmed booking-Creativity with their displays-Adaptability to changes! As long as we locked by their reasonable deadline-Their enthusiasm for all things food and experiences-Great to accommodate special diets-They’re on a Preferred Vendor List for Marvimon Producti

The team at Bites and Bashes is absolutely incredible! My organization has used their catering services several times, and they never disappoint. Their diverse menu accommodates a wide range of dietary needs, and the food is always exceptional—beautifully presented, consistent in quality, and delicious. Communication throughout the booking process is seamless, and they’re always quick to answer questions. Every time we serve their food, our guests can’t stop raving about it. They’ve truly become our go-to choice for events. A special shoutout to Katie—she’s amazing! Thank you!

Bites and Bashes was such a pleasure to work with. We fell in love with Crystal and Julie at our first tasting, and even more so loved the food they had prepared. Not only was the food incredible, it was also beautifully displayed. The flavors were complex and interesting, and presented on beautiful service ware and topped with edible flowers which made a breathtaking spread of food. Our guests were blown away by how good the food was, crowd favorites were the vegan gluten free Vietnamese glass noodles, which came in a small Chinese food to-go box, the pulled pork sliders with slaw, candied bacon, and the truffle mac and cheese. And the wait staff were all professional and so nice! We also hired our bartenders through Bites and Bashes and they were excellent. Overall, they ensured our experience was easy, enjoyable, and the final result was perfect. And they’re prices were so much better than all the other caterers we researched. I would recommend Bites and Bashes for any event in a he

Excellent service & even better tasting & flavorful food. The dishes are pleasantly prepared and the hazelnut latte is yummy. Highly recommend this place, don't just drive by, stop by.... you won't regret it, satisfaction guaranteed 😋Extremely clean dining area, both inside & out. Only drawbacks would have to be small parking lot & not complete full service(you come in, pick-up menu; sit down look over menu then get up and go to register & order🙄

My mom lives in the neighborhood. Have driven by this place and never knew until I came across the daughter’s Instagram page. The mother runs the place with catering being the focus.I took my mother and we were surprised by the bright ambiance with a neighborhood feel. It was packed with people who clearly knew about this place waaaay better than I. Everything from other people’s plates to drinks were really floral and pretty looking like the photos. The coconut shrimp was a great way to start. It was crunchy batter that stood up to the sweet chili, fish sauce, cilantro, lime dressing. I sipped the sauce after to figure out the flavors.Chinese chicken salad is crunchy and so familiar flavors yet looks so faaaaancy. The Cajun aioli on the fries were a bit bold but the sandwich was spot on. Enjoyed everything about this little gem in Lomita.Mom approved. She’s been recommending it to all her friends ever since!

I haven’t gone out of my way to write a review in a while, but this place was so good! The place is unassuming, so I was really surprised by the quality of the food and drinks here.I had a cardamom latte (yum!!) a lavender lemonade (YUM!!) and a chilaquiles breakfast burrito (YUM YUM YUM)Burrito was huge, very flavorful, well done. Service was quick and everyone was really friendly. If I’m ever in the neighborhood again, I’ll be back!

75th Bday party held in the backyard supported by Bites and Bashes phenomenal staff, food, and professionalism.Staff was fun, friendly and efficient. I had a Lox and Bagel Bar with all the trimmings. Fruit, accoutrements, and fresh flowers picked from the farms owned by B&B and beautifully crafted to set the stage for an amazing celebration.Packaging of leftovers and cleanup by B&B was a huge help while family and friends lingered with the birthday boy.Next event will be planned with Bites & Bashes full-service catering!

We ordered catering for Thanksgiving from Bites and Bashes and it was amazing. The turkey was perfectly cooked and juicy. The stuffing was the best I have ever had. My family and guests loved all the food. Ordering and pick up was so easy and well organized. They had instructions for reheating that were simple. I will definitely order catering from them again. 5/5 stars. So good!

Ordered hors d'oeuvres for delivery for our wedding reception cocktail hour and received nothing but positive reviews for their food which were veg dumplings, coconut shrimp, chicken meatball skewers, and steak sliders. We were so happy with their food quality and taste/flavor. Highly recommend them!
