Although the addition didn’t need updates, the original part of the house definitely did. This was the best remodeling experience one could possibly have! Our home was built in 1954 and has been completely gutted and beautifully updated. The crews that spent weeks transforming our home was some of the most pleasant, respectful, and on task crews. Johnnie’s crew came recommended to us by another reputable contractor in the area. They did great work for us screening in our existing deck and repairing our fascia, soffit, and deck stairs. I’m the daughter of a third generation home builder, and I grew up on residential job sites. Between that and having worked with a few other contractors on our homes, I can tell you Johnnie’s crew is as solid as they come. They were very professional, priced fairly, consistently asked for our opinion on the design details, and best of all, they communicated with us throughout the whole process… which was refreshing since we have been ghosted by others before. & it was never a guessing game of when they would show up or if they’d show up, because they’d let us know their schedule. From the time we signed the contract to the time they finished screening the deck, was about two weeks. We look forward to working with them in the future when we’re ready for a sunroom addition and new dock.

Johnnie Oldham with Arkansas Construction and Remodeling added a covered porch to our house, and we highly recommend Johnnie and his crew. We are very pleased with the outcome. We told Johnnie we wanted a large porch to host our family and to have a place for our grandchildren to play, and he helped us work out what that would look like. We wanted half walls with wood louvers on the sides of the porch and didn't know if that was possible or could be built, and he did it, and it turned out great. We also wanted to replace our old vinyl siding with board and batten, and we love how the new siding adds to the back of our house and the aesthetic of the porch. His crew worked hard and cleaned up before leaving each day. We appreciate their professionalism and dedication to making sure we were pleased at every aspect of this project.
