Had a consultation, and then stellar haircut with Maya. Honestly, earnestly best haircut experience of my life. I thought I wanted one haircut, but when it turned out that my hair wasn’t laying like I wanted to, she was more than willing to shift in a different direction mid-cut and give me the haircut that matched what my hair wanted to do. This is huge because I felt bad as it happened but she stayed kind and energetic despite it being a different cut. Her flexibility was reassuring. My hair…kind of does what it wants so I struggle getting haircuts and have been burned so many times before. Maya worked with me to find something that was very complimentary to my face. The shop is also LGBT friendly and there’s a chill vibe inside. If you’re on the fence, book a consultation and be honest about what you want. Such an excellent experience.
