As an Accountant for Northern Trust's Ireland Client Expenses team, you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently managing the financial accounts of our clients. Accurately manage and maintain financial accounts for Northern Trust's clients in Ireland.
Ensure all client expenses are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in managing client expenses.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and identify areas for cost savings.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address any issues or inquiries related to client expenses.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records in a timely manner.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Provide support for financial reporting and budgeting processes.
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed.
Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
