Position Overview
  • We are partnering with a global, multi-billion-dollar enterprise to hire a VP-level leader to build and scale an Organizational Design capability across the business.
  • Focused on how the company is structured to execute, including operating models, organizational design, and team effectiveness at enterprise scale.
  • Sits within Talent Management, functioning as an internal strategy capability focused on organizational structure and performance.
What You'll Own:
  • Design enterprise operating models and organizational structures aligned to business strategy.
  • Build and scale practical org design frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks used across business units.
  • Lead organizational design efforts tied to growth, transformation, and integration initiatives.
  • Partner with senior executives to define decision rights, structure, and team design.
  • Create scalable approaches that enable leaders to redesign their organizations effectively.
What This Role Is:
  • A builder role establishing a repeatable org design capability across a global company.
  • A blend of strategy execution, with a strong emphasis on real-world deployment.
  • A high-impact individual contributor role with enterprise-level influence.
What This Role Is NOT:
  • Not an HR Business Partner or Talent Management program role.
  • Not focused on training, engagement, or employee experience.
  • Not continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma.
What You Bring:
  • 12-20 years of experience in organizational design, operating model design, or enterprise transformation.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing organizational structures at scale.
  • Experience building frameworks that have been deployed across multiple business units.
  • Background in top-tier consulting (organizational design / operating model focus) and/or leading org design within a large, complex enterprise.
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical, repeatable tools that drive adoption.
