Entry Level Sales Reps - Paid Weekly

Vector Marketing is currently running interviews for part time sales reps. Our customer service focused sales representatives sell Cutco to customers on a low-key, one on one appointments. We offer a minimum base pay so our reps don’t feel pressured to make a sale - instead we ask them to focus on providing excellent service to our customers. We believe the quality of the product speaks for itself. Apply now and interview within the week!

What we offer:

Reps are paid not based on sales or results. Commissions are available based on performance. Reps have an opportunity to earn more but will still get paid even if they have an off week. Reps are paid weekly base or commission, whichever is higher for the week.

Solid training – We teach our reps how to do well in this role before they start and offer continued support and additional training as time goes on.

Product - We sell Cutco products that are used in the kitchen and some gardening tools as well. Previous knowledge about our products or sales experience aren’t needed.

Flexible scheduling – Reps can set their own weekly schedule around holiday plans, internships, classes, finals, their full time jobs, or family commitments.

Location – Sales reps work locally after training. Meetings and training are held in the office.

Opportunity for Advancement – Reps have an opportunity to move into long term sales positions or become a manager (even if they only start out part time).

Enjoy working with people
At least eighteen or seventeen and a high school graduate
Conditions apply
Willing to learn and apply new skills
Able to interview in the next 5 to 7 days

What makes a good candidate:

This entry level position is a good fit for people who are looking to supplement their current work schedule. Whether you work as a receptionist, cashier, fast food, server, or in retail – we can help you work around your busy schedule. If you are a student looking for winter break work or someone who needs a flexible schedule, our opportunities can work around your needs. It doesn’t matter if you have a Bachelors Degree, an Associates Degree, or no degree at all – we can train you to do well with us. We encourage applicants of all ages and experience, as we do not discriminate on the basis of an applicant’s age.

People who do well with us have experience in just about every field you can imagine - customer service, stocked shelves in a warehouse, as a waiter or waitress at a restaurant, administrative assistant, cashier, communications…

And yes – this means our training is so good that if your previous work was as a barista, a line cook, a cashier, or stocking shelves, you can do well here.

Vector Marketing is a single-level direct sales company that sells Cutco®.

Early in Cutco Corporation's history, there were hundreds of small independent sellers of Cutco®. In 1981, Vector Marketing was founded to be one of those independent sellers. From 1981 to 1984 Vector sold way more than all the other independent sellers.

In 1985, Cutco Corporation (back then it was called Alcas Corporation) bought the company from its owners to replicate Vector's success across the nation.

Now, Vector Marketing is the primary seller of Cutco Cutlery.

Our home office is in Olean, New York, and we have over 250 year-round, independently run locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Plus, we have over 300 more temporary locations that open each year for our peak summer season.
